PAYROLL SERVICES

Comprehensive Payroll Bureau Service

  • Confidentiality with the administration of the payroll being off-site;
  • Ensuring that payroll complies with current Income Tax Legislation and SARS requirements;
  • Scope of service to be determined by client;
    - Preparation and finalisation of Time and Attendance Schedule;
    - Processing of expense claims;
    - Leave administration;
    - Payroll reports and pay advices;
    - EFT of net pay, statutory and third party payments;
    - Completion and submission of statuary returns;
    - Assistance with employee queries regarding remuneration.

Structure of Remuneration Packages

  • Proposal reflecting structure of remuneration package;
  • Effecting required amendments to Retirement Fund Rules, employment contracts and benefit policies;
  • Consultations with employees to determine individual qualification for benefits;
  • Preparation and finalisation of proposed remuneration structure;
  • Assistance with implementation and management of revised remuneration structure on payroll system.

Remuneration and PAYE Review

  • Perusal of Remuneration and Employee Benefits Policy;
  • Perusal of Employment Contracts;
  • Perusal of Retirement and Medical Aid Fund Rules;
  • Review of Payroll Set-up to ensure above are reflected correctly;
  • Review of Fringe Benefits and Taxability thereof;
  • Review of Payroll to determine compliance with current SARS practices and electronic IRP5 & IT3(a) requirements;
  • Review of cash-book and/or petty cash payments made and reflection thereof on payroll system;
  • Review of business expense claims and refund procedures.

Client will receive a complete written review comprising of:

  1. Overview of of existing employer practices;
  2. Compliance thereof with SARS requirements and current legislation;
  3. Identification of risk areas;
  4. Recommendations to correct policies and/or procedures.

Assistance with SARS correspondence

  • Assistance with completion of the new Payroll Questionnaire;
  • Assistance with PAYE audit and/or inspections.
